About Dmitrii
Dmitrii Lamonov is a technology executive with 20+ years leading enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms and digital transformation across banking, retail and international industrial groups.
He currently serves as Group CIO of akYtec, a manufacturer of industrial automation and IIoT systems, and as CEO of MegaCore (Gamma Group), which supplies NVIDIA AI infrastructure across the Balkans. At Gamma Group he also advises on the global positioning of IT products.
Earlier, as Deputy Chief Architect of Infrastructure at M.Video-Eldorado — one of the region's largest retail networks — he ran infrastructure serving 86,000 users across 16,000 locations, 5 data centers and ~5,000 servers, on a $70M IT budget. He delivered enterprise disaster recovery, a 16,000-site SD-WAN rollout and hybrid multi-cloud (AWS + Azure) architecture, and negotiated eight-figure vendor contracts with Oracle and Cisco. His earlier career spans CTO leadership and IT infrastructure for Private, Retail and Corporate Banking, including PCI DSS and Visa/Mastercard card-processing platforms.
What sets his advisory apart is a rare, three-way command of AI: strategy at board level, hands-on delivery of agentic systems, and direct insight into AI-infrastructure economics through MegaCore's NVIDIA supply business. He also brings a perspective few operators have — he has both bought technology as a CIO and shaped how it goes to market as a positioning advisor.
